Or at least making you \u2018feel fit\u2019\nfeel' while sitting a lot and continuing to turn your butt around in the same few\nsquare metres. Hopefully you're all already enjoying our online\nlessons to clear your head, relax, for fun and to keep up a bit of\nstrength and fitness tracking :-). Besides exercise, nutrition is of course\nkey to feeling fit and healthy! Therefore, here we give you some great options to\nsnack, breakfast, lunch, whatever you want after your class! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.femmegym.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Post-workout-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4974\" width=\"438\" height=\"438\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Shake<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Widely known and a standard post-workout snack is\nof course, a protein shake. But you can vary this endlessly! Do you have\na blender at home? Then mix your protein powder not only with water or milk, but also with\nwith, for example, frozen fruit, a banana, fresh spinach, a spoonful of peanut butter\npeanut butter, a scoop of oatmeal or a cold shot of espresso. Also, cottage cheese is just\njust as good a source of protein, so don't like the taste of protein powder? Substitute\nit for cottage cheese. That way you keep it fun and also incredibly tasty! Two of my\nown favourites are: coconut protein powder, frozen mango, oatmeal, goji\nberries &amp; cottage cheese, a banana, blueberries, strawberries and spinach. Shake on it\nloose and share your yummy recipes! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Egg sandwich<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes really, so simple; an egg sandwich. Of course a\nwholemeal sandwich, the slow carbs in wholemeal bread ensure a\nsatiated feeling and won't cause a spike in your blood sugar. A\nnice boiled egg for the proteins, some raw vegetables for flavour and a bite\nand possibly a piece of avocado or slice of smoked salmon for the good fats,\nsome salt and pepper and enjoy! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Oatmeal <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I met my favourite oatmeal recipe at yoga\nretreat in Italy and from then on I was sold.  It has quite a few ingredients, but\nthen you have something! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chop a piece of fresh ginger as small as possible,\ndice half an apple and put this together with 40 grams of oatmeal and a\ndash of almond milk in a pan. Sprinkle turmeric and cinnamon on top.\nKeep stirring until the apple is nice and soft and it has turned into a bit of a porridge.\nbecome. Then it can go into your bowl, add a dash of alpro yoghurt and finish\nit with fresh figs, raspberries, kiwi or blueberries et voila! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Pancakes<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who doesn't get happy with pancakes? Mix oatmeal\nwith an egg, dash of (almond) milk and some cinnamon and bake! Nowadays\nyou also have ground oatmeal for real baking, which is even easier\n(although you can of course do it yourself in a blender). Add a little agave\nsyrup on top with some cottage cheese and fresh fruit and you have the ideal breakfast for the\nwhole family! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now should you be looking for just a snack and not a\nwhole meal then don't make it too hard on yourself! Anything that is fresh and does not contain\ntoo many sugars or fats is often a very good option. After exercise\nit is important to get protein to help your muscles recover\nand carbohydrates to replenish your energy levels. A boiled egg, a\npeanut butter sandwich, raw vegetables with a bit of feta, fruit, a granola bar\n(low in sugars), baking your own banana bread, small handful of nuts etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you have plenty of time to spare right now and love cooking and trying new\nthings?
