At FemmeGym the Forge (East)
During this session, you take a seat on your mat, snug under a warm blanket. We start with some gentle movement to prepare your body. Then you may lie down and let yourself be carried away by the sounds of the handpan, drum, singing bowls and gong, among others.
The vibrations of these instruments help you move from an alert state to a deep relaxation or meditative state. This can help release stress, tension or blockages.
We will close with a moment of silence to feel after - and those who want can share something more.
Practical:
Wear warm, comfortable layers - you're lying still, so it's nice if you stay warm.
⚠️ Note: this session is not suitable for pregnant women, people with epilepsy, mental sensitivity or medical implants or devices, due to the intensity of the vibrations and sound waves.
